Good OVA. Time to wait 7 months for season 2!

I mean we waited 5 years for Overlord so this is nothing

I just think that the animation in Overlord gradually gets worse with each season......but the again, the fights and armies do get more elaborate with each passing volume, the CGI is kinda atrocious though.

I don't know how long it has been since I watched the trailer of the first OVA from this series, which sparked my curiosity, which lead me to read the manga many many times, its probably also more than 5 years at this point.

I don't know what these japs are thinking. Overlord has a major success all around the world. It has brilliant character, world and story development but I'm not a fan of how floor gurdians cocksucking Ainz half of the screen time every episode. Also yeah lame CGI. Instead they like to milking to the bones Narutos bratty son and fund other retarded isekais such as Arifurieta. It's also a shame that author of Overlord behave like a sissy bitch on twitter and almost betrayed his work multiple times.

That is also why I'm not on social medias, then you don't know when creators of your beloved fiction tries to ruin your actual reality.

But yea, the cocksucking gets quite annoying, or rather, what annoyes me the most is the endless filler of politeness, with bows and raising their heads and all that, and accusing each other for being disloyal, which none of them are, or rather, I would say that Albedo and Demiurge, is the mist disloyal to him, as they often act on their own to make others bask in Ainz's greatness, although he has just told them not to do it.

If they removed all the politeness "banter" then the show and novels would lose about 1/4 of their runtime, however, then the anime atleast could show some of the important bits they skip to fit the politeness in instead.

I've waited a decade for Sekirei S3. It was announced a decade ago to be released in 2010.

It's been a decade.

This has been a great ova 3 part arc to set us up for S2 coming in April next year which the first ova series set us up for S1. And now we play the waiting game T_T.

Side topic: I remember back in 2019 before Covid was spreading so far and wide, my last anime convention I went to there was this couple that cosplayed as Chise and Elias. Also participated in the masquerade competition with brief introduction and part of there time on the presentation they did a waltz with music from Beauty and the Beast movie from Disney. As when the song ended the guy who cosplayed as Elias Ainesworth got on one knee and held out out of his pocket a ring box with a engagement ring then proposed right on stage. She was so surprised and happy she remove his mask and kiss him right there.

wow, i have mixed feelings about this. Would be interested in their life story. And how they got the motivation to do it like that.

What's even crazier for me is that they're couples which is only a word that exists in my dreams

I can answer that but it would be a spoiler (not a major one but still a spoiler so you can decide if you wanna know)

Let me speculate first:
1) AFAIK, she got a regular human body and a rather frail one at that due to her circumstances (beginning of the anime series)
2) Her one arm is magical, but even if it was 10x stronger than her other arm, she'd just fall over, as she still lacks strength in other places and there's the problem of ballance.
3) She's magically gifted

My working theory is that she's got some way to buff her physical body or use telekinesis at a short range. I haven't seen any hints for either of it though...

One of my most wanted season 2 is coming, hell yeah !

He needed the experience. He was a troubled kid born with a crappy situation and his parents while doing there best weren’t handling the situation the greatest by not realizing they were making him feel worthless. A quick stint as a magic horse rider is the perfect thing to get him thinking about what’s important again.

THEY FINALLY ANNOUNCED THE NEW SEASON YAYYYY :DDD

I love this series, and has done so for many years, yet, I don't really know why,
Im not into romance, or slice of life, and the manga has focused on the damn school arc the past 2 years or more. ( I hate school arcs and school centered anime/manga, which is like 80% of all anime/ manga ever)

There is not really much magic in it, and yet, its just a good story about a girl who gains the will to live, and end up granting people that same gift.

in a world of generic fantasy stories, with even more generic magic systems, and Isekai stuff being all the rage, its so refreshing that this has its own thing going for it,
I guess that is why I like it .........

I'm happy Evan choose to let go of him... especially that small time they've been together forge a bond
Time to watch S2 for the College Arc~

Cute but annoying. Not bad for a team mate though.

With the perfect way the first season ended, I didn’t think we’d be getting that full second season but here we go!!
